Charmaine Keatley, Chief Executive

Charmaine provides the strategic leadership and day-to-day management of KALC, overseeing member services, committee support and governance activities. Her role includes policy development, partnership working, the Annual Report, the creation of new parish and town councils, and borrowing approval applications.

Alison Stevens, Consultant 

Alison provides advice and guidance on governance and operational matters, helping councils to navigate challenges and promote good practice. She also offers mediation support and delivers a range of KALC training courses and development programmes to strengthen local council leadership.

Clive Powell, Local Council Adviser

Clive provides advice and support on legal and procedural matters, helping councils to understand requirements and maintain effective governance. He also supports partnership working and outreach activities, building relationships with councils and stakeholders across Kent and promoting collaboration within the sector.

Laura Dyer, Finance and Administration Manager

Laura manages many of the Association's administrative and operational functions, including subscriptions, financial matters, course bookings and publications. She also maintains the membership database and website, administers Area Committee expenses, and provides general administrative support across KALC.

Tricia Casey-Green, Communications Officer

Tricia supports communications and administration, maintaining the training database, course bookings and assisting with publications. She is also responsible for editing KALC News and member bulletins, helping to keep councils informed about key developments and opportunities.
