DUNKIRK Parish Council seek a new Clerk/Responsible Financial Officer.
The existing Clerk is unfortunately leaving at short notice due to greatly increased work commitments from his primary occupation. Therefore we have a vacancy from the middle of September 2010.
Dunkirk is within the Borough of Swale and has seven Parish Councillors.
We meet monthly in the Village Hall and the Clerk is currently paid £270 for 28 hours work each month; this is reviewed annually. It is expected that the Clerk will have suitable computer skills in Word and Excel and attend the ‘Working With your Council’ training course.
