    Effective Higher Level Planning

    For Local Councils - P301


    Join Lindsay Frost, KALC's Planning Adviser, 

    for an advanced learning module in Planning 


    Please note you should only attempt this course if you have attended P101/P111 or P201 in the last three years and found the key planning concepts accessible. This is not an introductory course and  P101/P111 level of knowledge sis assumed. This course looks at how Local Councils can build on established planning training to contribute to planning by

    1) greater understanding of the Government's strategic planning agenda,

    2) the role of the appeal process and 

     3) wider development in the context of risks like flooding but also opportunities around shaping development to benefit the community. This course will also include problem solving and discussing topical issues in planning  law and development.
